Job Description & Responsibilities
Sample preparation and analysis according to USP or House microbiological methods
Testing includes: environmental monitoring, raw material, finished product and stability samples using an array of microbial methods
Maintenance and troubleshooting of instruments and equipment
Validation of methods
Write/revise QC Lab methods and SOPs as required
Requirements
Degree in Microbiology
3 years industry experience in a natural health product or pharmaceutical microbiology GMP testing lab
Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills
Strong knowledge of USP microbiology testing procedures and method validation
Good computer skills: MS Word and Excel
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Good written and verbal communication skills
