Reducol Training Program Coordinator
Part time hours – varying depending on project requirements
Possibility of a summer contract
Forbes Medi-Tech provides continuing education training programs for healthcare professionals globally. In the short term, the company is looking to expand and create a training program for phytosterols in Holland. The successful candidate would be required to create a curriculum that would parallel our current program. The completion of this project would require a full Dutch translation for all of our presentation materials as well as the timely accreditation of the program.
Specifically, you would be reporting to the Manager, Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs and your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
reating a continuing education program for healthcare professionals in Holland
Identifying and building on support materials for the Dutch pharmacist role in cholesterol management as it relates to phytosterols and functional foods
Investigating and locating clinical references to support the program
Researching and Investigating various support and communication avenues for the program
Following the Dutch Pharmaceutical regulations/guidelines to submit the program material for full accreditation
Translate the program from English into Dutch
Receive endorsement and accreditation for the program in Holland
Your Qualifications, Skills & Requirements:
Bilingual Dutch/English with a science background (e.g. immunology, biochemistry, nursing, pharmacy, pharmacology etc.)
The ability to write & speak Dutch proficiently, including scientific writing
The ability to meet timelines
The ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Detail orientated
Self motivated with the ability to work independently
Experience working in or understanding the operations in Dutch pharmacies is an asset
Additional language skills for future projects an asset
This project can be completed while working in our office, or on your own schedule. Forbes will provide support in allowing the successful candidate to gain experience to the inside workings of a life-science company.
