Qualifications:
Successful candidates will have:
A MS in polymer science, material science, or pharmaceutical science, along with 7 – 10 years of related experience
Experience in modern formulation techniques for novel drug delivery (drug encapsulation, drug microparticles, sustained release formulations, micelles, liposomes, etc.)
Experience in using design of experiments for formulation development and process optimization studies
Experience with pharmaceutical and/or medical device product development and cGMP manufacturing
Experience in preparation of documentation for regulatory submissions for successful product approval in North America and/or
Europe (IDE, IND, NDA, PMA or CE mark approval).
Strong project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
