A graduate student position (Pharmacology) under the supervision of Dr. Pascal Bernatchez at St. Paul’s Hospital in downtown Vancouver is currently available. Applicants should hold an undergraduate degree in life sciences (or close to completion). The projects consist in developing new pharmacological approaches for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. More precisely, the successful candidate will be expected to deepen his understanding and perform experiments related to endothelial cell biology, angiogenesis and Nitric oxide research, and vascular reactivity. He/She is also expected to present results at laboratory meetings and participate in journal club presentations at St. Paul’s Hospital and/or UBC. This is a full-time position, available now.
